Your Guide

Ashley Leedberg

Born and raised in Maine, I have always been deeply connected to the restorative power of its wilderness. From the rocky coastline to the towering mountains and tranquil lakes, there is no shortage of natural wonders to discover in this incredible state. As a licensed Maine Guide, I am honored to share my passion, and I encourage everyone to embrace the beauty of the natural world.

Spending time in nature is essential for our well-being, and I am constantly inspired by the transformative effects it has on both body and mind. Whether it’s a peaceful sunset paddle on the coast or an invigorating hike up a mountain, each outdoor adventure presents its own opportunity for growth and self-discovery.

As a weekend retreat guide, I am dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space for women to explore the restorative power of nature, unwind, and recharge. With a focus on mindfulness and holistic wellness, I offer a range of guided experiences that encourage women to connect with their surroundings and find inner peace in the midst of Maine’s rugged wilderness. I hope to inspire a deeper connection, with like minded women and within ourselves, through the heartfelt conversations, outdoor exploration, and yoga and meditation.

Mary Kate is a multi-passionate educator and perpetual student. She read her first book on the great philosophers when she was 12, and she has been adventuring for answers ever since. MK has been practicing yoga for 18 years, but really committed her energy and passion to yoga when she began her teacher training in 2019. Since graduating from the Vinyasa-based 200hr program from Tula Institute of Yoga, she has gone on to receive special teacher trainings in Meditation & Pranayama, as well as Yoga Nidra from ShivaShakti School of Yoga. As the Founder of CHILLOSOPHY, she cares greatly about sharing the gifts that finding the right yoga practice can bring to any student in all aspects of their life. She has found so much joy, so much more courage, and a depth of connection to self and spirit through these practices. She would love to guide you in finding or rediscovering your voice, your depth, your body, your self through yoga, meditation, and philosophy.

MK is also a trained scuba instructor, technical diver, whitewater guide, and heartfelt ocean advocate. When out of the studio you'll find her exploring outside with her husband Chris, their two amazing kids Jack & Brody (proud bonus mom!), and pupper Billie.
